4 Letters Today!

I got four letters in the mail today!! The week he is in now is week 3 which is lovingly called "Hell Week". I guess the name says it all. All of the letters were written last week and weekend so I don't have any more details about it. Rumor is, after this week it gets a little better. I know he only has 3 days left of this week, but please pray that the Lord would give him strength! Thanks to those of you who have written. He says that it is really encouraging! Thanks! He is also sick. Just a cough, pray that it goes away...FAST! He has been reading his Arimen's Bible...loves it! Some of the other guys are asking him where he got it. It is the only personal item that he was allowed to keep with him. Everything else is locked away. Please continue to pray for emotional, physical, and mental strenght. He seems ok still but nervous about this week.
Next week will start training with his M16, gas chambers and night raids. Scary.
He should be getting his "tags" next week. He was excited about that!
He has selected a number of jobs from his electrical area. He won't be sure what they have given him until week 7 or 8 of basic. I was hoping for sooner. Oh well! I guess he is thinking that his training will most likely be at Keesler AFB in Mississippi. Never been there...guess I'll be going!

PS...DO NOT SEND BIRTHDAY CARDS! He said that he has to do extra physical training and shout that that it is his birthday for each card that he gets. I guess just sneak it into a letter! Thanks!
