Well, it is about time for an update!  Dustin was home about 4 days after we got to Arizona!  We spent those 4 days cleaning, organizing, reorganizing, reorganizing again, cooking, and so on.  We had the fridge stocked, Makenzie moved to her new bedroom, new curtains and crib skirts in place, Christmas decorations up, and presents wrapped.  Mom and I were exhausted!  Dustin and Makenzie seemed to pick up right where they left off and she has become quite the daddy's girl!  She dragged him around the house by his little finger the entire two weeks of his R and R.  We went up to Flagstaff the week of Christmas to spend a little time in the snow.  Kenzie was less than thrilled with the cold and snow...looks like she's an AZ baby after all!
He has been back to work for a few weeks now and has seemed to jump back into schedule without any hiccups.  He started another class last week and still has a 4.0, even while completing 2 classes in Qatar. He's still on schedule to have his BA by this time next year!
Makenzie is starting to talk more, although she still uses sign language for about 6-8 words.  She has learned how to "jump" which is more a bend of the knee without her feet leaving the ground! She loves to chase Dustin and Pearl around the living room, laughing the entire time.  She loves to be outside so it is a good thing our temps have been in the 80's the last few days.
We have been busy the last few weeks with MOPS, play dates, dr appointments, and getting ready for Madelyn.  It has been so nice to spend time with the friends that we left behind for a few months! So grateful for this group of Christian families!
Madelyn is getting ready for her big debut!  I am very ready!  The doctor seems to think she is going to be bigger than Makenzie so we have scheduled an induction date of Friday, February 1.  Makenzie will be staying with good friends of ours while we are at the hospital.  I find it funny that Dustin will have to watch the Super Bowl either in the hospital or a few hours after we get home!  I guess this is the silver lining of the Packers not making it!!
