We have been busy the last few weeks! The weather has gotten quite warm and we are told this is nothing yet! Dustin has been playing on his PMEL Lab softball team. He has pitched the last few games and has done really well! Pearl turns 1 tomorrow!! She is still shedding and adjusting to the every increasing temps! She is still very full of energy and is beginning to wonder what all the new things in the house are and who this "baby" character is that we are constantly talking about!
My cherry tomatoes have been growing and growing. I want to try a "basket" garden next year with more veggies. The nursery is coming along too! We have our crib and changing table and our rocking chair and glider. We have also decided on a name, Makenzie Renee! We will probably call her Kenzie for short.

On Mother's Day we went to Lake Pleasant which is a huge lake about 40 minutes away. The water is amazingly clear and blue. We did a little hiking and Pearl did some swimming. She loved the water! We plan on going back in the fall when we can do a little more hiking and some swimming.
