I am almost 20 weeks and had a 3D ultrasound yesterday. All went well and the Dr was able to confirm that she is a girl! Bring on the pink. Our townhouse has the upstairs bedroom already painted a perfect shade of pink with pink and brown polka dots on one wall. Dustin is very happy that he doesn't have to paint that room! We have a name picked out and we are deciding whether or not we are going to share the name before she is born. I have been feeling pretty good. Really nice to have the sickness of the first trimester behind me.
In other news...I finally started my job as a kindergarten aide a few weeks ago. I really like it so far. My job is to assist the students during independent work time as well as teach small groups reading and math skills. I get to teach but don't have to plan so it is a pretty sweet deal! This week I was off for spring break and our friend Jill flew down from IL to spend her spring break. She is delighted with the warm weather and I'm excited to have a friend from back home. We have gone to a few baseball spring training games. You can purchase lawn seats and watch the game sitting on a blanket in the grass. It is a lot of fun. We have also been spending quite a bit of time at the pool! The weather has been unseasonably warm...even for Arizona. The highs have been just around 90 and the sun is always shining. It has been warm...I can only imagine a few months from now! We are looking forward to a few more visitors. Uncle Jim and Aunt Mel fly in on Saturday just in time for the Luke Days Air Show. After that, our friend Matt is coming to stay for a few days.
