October

Pearl is growing! A lady in our neighborhood stopped me on our walk the other day and said, "She gets bigger every time you walk by! What are you feeding her?" She has calmed down a lot and usually behaves really well! We are half way done with puppy school and she continues to show off during class! We got a pumpkin at a "fall festival" today. Not a fall festival like we are used to, but I can imagine it may be hard to have a fall festival with no fall! The weather is still warm. The humidity is gone...most days...but the temps are still in the 80's. No rain all month...dry, dry, dry.

Last weekend we went to West Ship Island. It is about an hour boat ride from the shore. This is a picture of Fort Massachusetts that was built in the 1800's. The water was crystal clear and we saw many crabs, fish, and dolphins. It was really cool! We went with our friends Bethany and Chris. They grew up on the East Coast so they were showing Dustin and I how to catch crabs. They left this week for Langley AFB in Virginia, the first of many goodbyes!

Dustin is still doing well in school. Tuesday is test day this week. I am still tutoring after school and have been subbing almost every day! Its nice to have a little extra money, but its a full schedule!
