The weather here has been great the last few days. There has been blue sky and low humidity, a nice change to the last few weeks! Pearl still loves to dig...we were told that if you put pine cones in the holes that it would hurt her paws and she would stop digging. Nope! She just thinks that we brought home a bunch of new toys. She lost her first tooth Saturday. She also got her rabbies shot so she has her official orange Keesler tag. She weaighs 35 lbs. This is our new kitchen table! We got it at the BX...which is like a classy Wal-Mart on base. The BX sells toys, clothes, appliances, TVs, and household stuff. They also have a Clinique counter and sell designer purses. We have to wait for the other two chairs...they had to be ordered. We want to pick up two more chairs so we have six.

On Sunday we went to a park and had a picnic. This was the first time that we had Pearl out and off the leash. She did really well. She took a nice nap when we got home!

This is Pearl's first day of Puppy School picture. We will be going on Sunday afternoon for the next 8 weeks. The instructor is retired Air Force and was surprised how smart she is and how quickly she picks up the new material. He also commented on her high level of energy!

Dustin graduated with a 96 average from his electronic prinicples course last week and started the course for PMEL. His projected graduation date is middle January. We should know where we are going to be stationed next in about 2 weeks! It will be nice to have the time to prepare and look for a job.

  1. We always enjoy your news. Pearl seems to be growing faster than weeds. ^_^ Looks like she might be too big for a lap dog. She is so cute. Hope she does well in her puppy class and learns all her manners well.
We just got back from a week at the lake and will be going on a Mississippi River Cruise Saturday with our potluck. It is a two day cruise with an overnight in Dubuque. Tickets to the River Museum are included. It should be fun. After that we are going to the new Abraham Lincoln Museum. Everyone who has been there is so impressed so we are looking forward to that.
I like your new kitchen table. Now all your furniture is as you like it.
We are anxious to hear where your next move will be....not as anxious as you I suppose. GOOD JOB DUSTIN! We are proud of how well you did.
On Labor Day morning we met your mom, dad and grandma at the Corners for breakfast. We had a nice time. It was a beautiful day.
Did you hear that Mike, Cathy and Leah are leaving for Ethiopia on the 15th. I can't wait until they get home! What an adventure for all of them. Levi will probably be here part of the time.
That's it for this time. Know that we love you and pray for you daily.
    Love,
    Grandma
